Fairy Project
1. I really like it, originally it was going to be a green color, but i thought that the blue worked much better.
2. I think it's fairly sucessful, I probably would've liked it better if it had a little bit of light in the hair, but it's a dark fairy, so it's not too bad to have lots of black.
3. The flowing hair really worked for this project, but I wish i could've kept some of her face in there, it got covered up by the hair, but it wound up working out. What didn't work is the shadows on the ground, they just made it look like her dress kept going, which it didn't.
4. If I could try again, I would probably mess with the wings a little more, they don't quite look right at the moment, I would try different angles and maybe adjust the lighting on them.
5. The most difficult part, was figuring out what colors worked and what didn't. There were a few patches that would turn strange colors, like everything would be green and a few spots would be a bright pink color.
6. I learned how to adjust colors to my will, as well as how to make the outside of the person glow a certain color.

Eye Color Retouching Tutorial
Quick eye color editing tutorial. I wish the tutorial had included some tips on ways to keep it from not looking photoshoped.. but it turned out pretty good.
Character Expressions
This is.... a character, she has bangs.
Quick doodle of character expressions, she has a friend, but she only has one expression.

Background Tutorial
More color, today seems to be a very... colorful day. Fairly simple tutorial, I had to play around with the filters to get the right amout of bars. I with that the yellow was a little bit more intense, but i really like how the red and the purple look in this. They really work for this piece. I couldn't really get the middle section to look a little lighter though, I'd improve that if I tried again. The hardest part was getting the colors in the gradient to look just right, and I still wish I could fix some things. But it looks pretty good.
Color Tutorial
Yet another tutorial, this time experimenting with color. The tutorial was super simple, and very easy to follow. I like the colors in this piece, very simple colors all blended together. I had lots of fun picking out the colors and I don't really think I struggled with anything in it. I think this piece is fairly successful, I really like the rainbow shadow. More colorful than usual, less blue. If I tried this again, I would try to add a little bit more green and yellow and shorten that shadow a little. I'm learning a little bit more about color combinations, what goes well with what and whatnot.

Reverse engineering is hard... but I did it.. I think.
Lots and lots of blue, as usual. I would've liked if there was something in the background, but nothing really worked there. I learned a little bit about using the threshold adjustment and the saturation tool. It was really hard deciding on a background for the piece, but black seemed to work well.

Once again, a tutorial.
The tutorial said to make it a greenish blueish color, but i decided that a blueish purplish color would be more mysterious. I really like how this turned out, and I learned alot while working on it. Probably the hardest part was finding a brush to do the swirls with, and doing the eyes. There's way too much glitter on the eyes.... haha.
